Merge Data
This is a huge one and has really taken a lot of time so we hope you will use this to clean up your data and keep it clean and concise.
Almost every Genius customer has some form of duplicate data in Companies, Contacts & Learners. We previously implemented email checks to try to limit this however this still happens from time to time.

So you can now merge Companies, Contacts and Learners to cleanse your data.
For example; If you have two companies called ‘Smith Construction’, one was added correctly and then someone (often the customer themselves) creates another account in the same (or similar) name. Then when you place an order which company do you assign the order to? It quickly becomes confusing.

The Merge feature puts an end to this
Merging two Companies transfers everything from the secondary Company into the primary company while preserving all of the primary companies existing data. The same applies to Contacts and Learners.

Genius Prompt on Duplicate Email Addresses
By default Genius does not allow you to add duplicate email addresses for learners or contacts. Genius will now prompt you advising that the email is already used, however you can choose to ignore the warning and add duplicates if you choose.
You can also choose to leave the email field blank for learners if you wish.

Mi / Export (New Feature)
We have created a new dashboard called Mi / Export (you will see this replaces the Export Menu). The Mi (Management Information) element allows us to present your data to you in more meaningful ways, this will include reports, graphs, pie charts and more and will be continually developed over the coming months. 
These reports will help you to make more informed strategic decisions on the direction of your business. We are very excited about the possibilities using the very latest Ai technology.

Please Note: We will be continuously updating the Mi features over the next few days / weeks as unfortunately we didn’t manage to complete this for the update, such has been our workload over the later part of 2025, so this will be an ongoing update over January.

Exporting Data
We have redeveloped the data export tools (now in the Mi / Export Dashboard) merging them into a single simple interface.
We are continuing to optimise the export tools, to make them perform quicker and be able to export more data in each export.

Changing Genius Users
From time to time staff members leave your business, so you can now change user accounts yourself. To do this click the cog (top right) > My Profile > Users. Then click on the user you want to change, edit the user details then click ‘Save Changes’.
Then click the yellow ‘Send Login Email’ button to send an email to the new user giving them access to create their login credentials.

Bug Fix
No bug fixes this time.
